Cycle2Work is a government-backed scheme that makes buying new bikes and cycling equipment more affordable. If your employer is enrolled in the scheme, you can save up to 47% by paying no Income Tax or National Insurance on eligible purchases.

The cost is spread over 12 or 18 months through convenient deductions from your salary, making it an easy and cost-effective way to get riding.

We accept most Cycle To Work Schemes and with the majority having no limit on value you can get amazing tax savings of up to 47% on that dream bike!

How To Apply For Your Voucher

Step 1

Choose your provider

Speak to your employer about which cycle to work schemes they operate and apply for your voucher. We would recommend a provider that doesn't charge a surcharge but do we accept vouchers from all major schemes. See Q&A section for more details.

Step 2

Choose your bike

We have a great selection of bikes in store but we can special order any model of bike from our brand partners Specialzied, Santa Cruz, Orbea, Unno, Nuke Proof, Marin & Transition. We can also help you build your own custom commute machine from frame up!

Step 3

Claim your voucher

Your voucher will contain a LOC (Letter Of Collection) number which we use to initiate the process of you collecting your bike from us. Simply give us the LOC number and we will do the rest!

Collect your bike

Once we have the admin out of the way we can arrange for you to come into store to collect your new bike. We offer a free handover and suspension setup service on collection to make sure you get the most out of your new steed!

Can I test ride a bike before applying?

Yes. We'd always recommend visiting the shop to discuss your options, get correctly sized and, where available, arrange a demo ride before submitting your Cycle2Work application.

Is there a surcharge?

Some of these schemes do charge us a commission fee against the voucher total which we in turn may pass on to you.

This charge can be rolled into your voucher total or charged in addition to the voucher total.

How much could I save?

The amount you save depends on your Income Tax and National Insurance rate, but most people save between 28% and 47% on the cost of a new bike and eligible cycling equipment. Your savings are built into the scheme automatically through salary sacrifice.

What can I include in my purchase?

You can choose from a wide range of bikes, e-bikes and cycling accessories, including helmets, clothing, lights, locks, pedals, tools and other safety equipment. The exact items available may vary depending on your employer's chosen Cycle2Work provider.

Can I choose any bike?

Yes! As long as your employer's Cycle2Work provider works with Brink, you can choose from our full range of eligible bikes and equipment. If you're unsure whether a particular model is included, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

Are E-Bikes included?

Yes! E-Bikes are included in all Cycle To Work schemes and we stock a huge range of E-Bikes in store and even more from our brand partners.

Do I own the bike at the end of the scheme?

Most Cycle2Work schemes include an end-of-agreement process. Depending on your provider, you may have the option to extend the hire period, pay a small ownership fee, or have ownership transferred after the agreement ends. The exact process varies between providers, so we'll happily explain how yours works.
