The Pedro's Chain Pig II surrounds the chain with brushes and a wiping sponge, giving you a repeatable cleaning routine without removing the chain. Its derailleur hook helps keep the cleaner aligned while you turn a compatible drivetrain backwards.
Fill to the marked line with about 30ml of suitable degreaser, then follow the rinse, dry and lubricate steps in the instructions. Degreaser is not included with this standalone cleaner. Some weak derailleur springs need hand support, and bikes without a derailleur require the hook to be removed and the cleaner held. Replacement internals are available for later servicing.
