Repeated park laps and hard downhill runs ask a lot of a rim. The FR 541 tackles that job with a welded aluminium hoop and a 30mm internal width, giving a gravity tyre a stable platform without making the wheel needlessly harsh.
Its rim-edge shape is designed to reduce the chance of pinching the tyre in an impact. PHR washers distribute spoke load, while the conventional replaceable spoke hardware keeps the finished wheel serviceable.
The FR 541 uses a shaped rim edge to increase the force needed to pinch a tyre during an impact. It is useful protection for a wheel that will spend its life on rough downhill tracks and repeated bike-park laps.
Spread the spoke load
The PHR washer system spreads force over a larger area of the rim and works with the Squorx Pro Head nipples. That supports a consistent wheel build and keeps the spoke connections serviceable when the wheel needs attention.
