Burgtec Seat Clamp

A tidy finishing touch with a useful fitting detail: Burgtec machines the rear split wide enough to pass a dropper cable without disconnecting it. The smooth 6061-T6 aluminium clamp uses stainless-steel hardware to hold the post securely.

Choose the clamp diameter to match the outside of your frame's seat tube. Seatpost diameter alone is not enough, because the frame sits between the post and the clamp.

Sizing guidance

• 34.9mm: Burgtec says predominantly frames using 30.9mm posts.
• 36.4mm: Burgtec says predominantly frames using 31.6mm posts.
• 37mm: match the frame specification; no post-diameter shortcut is supplied.
• 38.6mm: Burgtec says predominantly Specialized full-suspension frames.
• 39.7mm: Burgtec says predominantly Trek full-suspension frames.
