The DeathGrip 2 Race uses DMR's super-soft 15A compound for riders who put outright grip and bar feel ahead of maximum wear life. Choose Thin or Thick and Flange or Flangeless within one product.
Super-Soft 15A Race Compound
The softer rubber feels tackier under bare hands or gloves, helping reduce the effort needed to stay connected through braking bumps, steep chutes and repeated hard impacts.
The Signature DeathGrip Pattern
Mushroom ribs cushion the thumb and forefinger, diamond knurl supports the palm, and the underside waffle gives the fingers a positive, repeatable position.
Secure Single-Lock Fit
A tapered core and slimline aluminium collar hold the grip securely. The exposed outer core and moulded DMR end cap protect the bar end when the bike hits the ground or clips an obstacle.
Three complementary tread zones support the hand: soft mushroom ribs under the thumb, diamond knurl across the palm and an underside waffle that gives the fingers a positive place to settle.
Tougher Bar Ends
The exposed outer core and injection-moulded DMR end cap protect the part of the grip that normally takes the most punishment from crashes, trees and workshop walls.
Secure Single-Lock Fit
A tapered core and refined aluminium collar create a secure fit with one stainless-steel bolt. The slim integrated shape keeps the inboard end neat around the controls.
Thin or Thick
Choose the 29.8mm Thin profile for a direct connection to the bar, or the 31.3mm Thick profile for more material and cushioning under the hand.
