The 240 DEG DF brings quick engagement and suspension tuning into the hub itself. Oversized 90-tooth ratchets keep the drive connection positive, while Degrees of Freedom lets you choose how much free movement the system has before it engages.
Set it to 0 degrees for conventional engagement, or choose 10 or 20 degrees to reduce the chain's influence on rear-suspension movement while coasting. The adjustment is inside a familiar, serviceable DT Swiss hub rather than an extra component on the crank.

Select the exact axle standard, drilling and cassette interface
DF adds a choice of 0, 10 or 20 degrees of free movement. The two float settings can reduce drivetrain influence on the rear suspension while freewheeling; the zero setting keeps conventional hub behaviour.
Quick pickup, familiar servicing
The oversized 90-tooth DEG ratchets give a 4-degree engagement interval. The freehub remains accessible for routine cleaning and greasing, so fine tuning the ride does not require an extra service system on the bike.
