Give a compatible Ratchet DEG rear hub a way to tune drivetrain influence on the suspension. This 90-tooth DEG DF kit adds a choice of 0, 10 or 20 degrees of free movement, rather than moving the adjustment to an extra component at the crank.
The free movement can reduce pedal kickback while coasting through rough ground. Choose the zero setting for conventional hub behaviour. Initial installation requires a DEG ring-nut tool; select the kit with the tool or the version for a workshop that already owns it.

The DF setting allows a controlled amount of freehub movement before engagement. It can reduce the chain's influence on suspension movement while coasting; set it to zero for conventional hub behaviour.
