The current G 1800 gives wide gravel tyres a broad, 26mm internal platform. Its shallow 20mm alloy profile makes a useful starting point for rough lanes, long tracks and everyday rides that do not stay on tarmac.
SPLINE and CLASSIC are separate build choices: SPLINE uses straight-pull spokes, while CLASSIC uses conventional J-bend spokes. Dynamo front versions add a further choice for riders running a compatible lighting system. Match the exact build and wheel position, rather than mixing the names as though they were identical.

The 26mm internal bed is wider than the previous 24mm G 1800 generation. It supports modern high-volume gravel tyres; the tyre still needs to be approved for the rim and clear the frame and fork.
Ratchet LN, Built To Be Serviced
The 370 rear hub uses Ratchet LN with a 36-tooth engagement system in this generation. The removable freehub makes the mechanism accessible for the correct cleaning and lubrication routine.
