The R 500 is a practical alloy rim for bikes that move between tarmac, tracks and muddy winter routes. Its 22mm internal width sits neatly between traditional narrow road rims and the broadest gravel options, giving a versatile base for an all-road wheel build.
The low 23mm profile and sleeved joint favour a straightforward, serviceable wheel. These are 700c, disc-specific rims with Presta drilling. Build them with tubes or compatible tubeless tyres and the correct tape and valves; tyre fit and pressure still need to match the rim and bicycle.
