The RR 411 Asymmetric is a low-profile rim for a carefully built rim-brake road wheel. Its offset spoke bed helps the wheelbuilder reduce the imbalance in spoke tension created by a dished rear hub, while keeping the slim feel of an 18mm internal road rim.
The welded alloy joint, PHR washers and Squorx nipples are designed to work together as a complete spoke-seat arrangement. Machined braking surfaces and wear indicators make this a rim for conventional rim-brake bikes. The asymmetric profile is a build decision: use it with the correct orientation and spoke calculation for the hub.

Supplied as a rim, not a complete wheel. Spokes and hub are chosen separately for the build.
The asymmetric profile moves the spoke bed away from the centre line. Used in the correct orientation, it helps balance the geometry of a dished wheel without changing the position of the tyre.
