The RR 521 DB is an alloy rim for a road wheel that has work to do. Its 32mm section is more substantial than the lightest endurance rims, and its 20mm internal width gives a useful platform for wider road tyres.
It is a sensible starting point for a durable disc-brake build carrying a heavier rider or luggage, within the limits of the complete bicycle. The welded rim is supplied with PHR washers and Squorx nipples to support the spoke seats. Tubes or compatible tubeless tyres can be used with the correct preparation.
