The U 623 is built around utility rather than race-day weight. Its reinforced alloy profile and 25mm internal width make it a useful rim for an e-bike, trekking bike or everyday load carrier that needs to keep earning its place in the workshop.
The reinforced spoke bed addresses the repeated loads of heavier bikes and regular use. These versions are 700c, disc-specific and Schrader-drilled, so check the valve type as carefully as the hub drilling. The rim can form part of a tubed or compatible tubeless build; the limit of the complete wheel and bike still matters.
