A carbon trail wheel for riders who want low weight without an overly harsh build. This third-generation XMC 1501 uses a 30mm internal-width carbon rim and Competition Race spokes.
The wheel is designed as a complete system, with the spoke choice helping tune the feel of the carbon rim. It is a distinct generation from the current XMC 1500 and does not have DF free-movement adjustment as supplied.
Its 240 Ratchet DEG rear hub uses oversized 90-tooth ratchets for a 4-degree engagement interval, with the usual accessible DT Swiss freehub servicing.

The 90-tooth DEG ratchets give a 4-degree engagement interval. That reduces the pedal movement before the wheel is driven, useful when a climb leaves space for only a short stroke.
Straightforward freehub servicing
The DEG mechanism retains accessible ratchets and springs for routine cleaning and lubrication. This is the conventional DEG generation, without DF free-movement adjustment.
