The Early Rider Belter 16 keeps everyday riding simple: 16-inch wheels, a brushed aluminium frame and a single-speed belt drive. For family rides, park laps and getting about under their own steam, it's a bike that lets a young rider get on with enjoying the ride.

A belt, one gear and plenty of riding

The belt does away with a chain that needs oiling, and a single gear keeps the controls uncomplicated. Short 90mm cranks suit smaller legs, while the reduced-diameter handlebar grip area gives little hands less to wrap around.

Schwalbe Billy Bonkers 2.0-inch tyres add a useful amount of air volume for comfort on mixed everyday surfaces. Tektro brakes with short-reach levers and sealed-bearing wheels complete a practical build.

This is the regular single-speed Belter 16. It suits a rider who needs a straightforward everyday bike; the Seeker 16 is the more dirt-focused option in the same wheel size.

Moving up a wheel size shouldn't mean struggling to control the bike. Come and check the fit, or talk us through the rider's measurements and current bike before ordering.
