The Early Rider Seeker 24 is a rigid mountain bike for young riders going further under their own power. Shimano CUES nine-speed gearing, hydraulic disc brakes and wide Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres give it a useful trail build, with a brushed aluminium frame and fork keeping the setup simple.
One shifter, more places to ride
A single front chainring and nine gears at the back let the rider adapt to changes in gradient without juggling two shifters. The CUES thumb-operated control makes that a natural next skill to develop as rides get longer.
Smart Sam 2.35-inch tyres provide off-road tread and cushioning, while Tektro hydraulic brakes use short-reach levers and 160mm rotors. Sealed-bearing wheels and lock-on grips add details that make sense on a bike intended to be ridden regularly.
Keep it straightforward
The Seeker is a good place to look for mixed routes and dirt trails when you want a rigid bike. If rougher riding is becoming the main attraction, the Charger 24 adds a suspension fork. Talk to us about the rider, their fit and the routes they enjoy, and we'll help with the choice.
Fit and weight
- Standover height: 600mm (manufacturer guidance).
- Manufacturer-quoted weight: 10.32kg, without pedals.
Standover is a frame measurement, not a minimum inside-leg recommendation. A fit check is still the best way to choose the right size.
