Halo Security Skewer Front

There's nothing to make stealing an unlocked wheel quicker and easier than conventional quick release skewers, as no tools are required. Even Hex bolt skewers have a downfall when it comes to security, as all that stands between them and your wheels is an Allen key.

Our Anti-Theft Skewers add an extra level of protection from any thief looking to steal your unlocked wheel, as they will need an Allen key with a hole in the centre to accept the additional security pin.

Halo Anti-Theft Skewers includes a Hex pin tool for your home tool box, and we've added a security hex pin tool onto a handy anodised alloy key ring fob, which also includes a bottle opener.

Skewers are available in 3 types:

Front Standard (156mm rod)

Fits:

• Standard QR type hub with 5mm internal skewer clearance.
• Over Locknut Dimension of 100mm.
• Dropouts up to 8mm thick.

Rear Road Standard (188mm rod)

Fits:

• Standard Road QR type hub with 5mm internal skewer clearance.
• Over Locknut Dimension of 130mm.
• Dropouts up to 9mm thick.

Rear MTB standard or XL Road (192mm rod)

Fits:

• Standard MTB QR type hub with 5mm internal skewer clearance.
• Over Locknut Dimension of 135mm.
• Dropouts up to 8.5mm thick.

Or

• XL Road QR type hub with 5mm internal skewer clearance.
• Over Locknut Dimension of 130mm.
• Dropouts up to 11mm thick.
