The Hope Pro 5 Boost front hub is a serviceable starting point for a custom mountain-bike wheel. Its wider 110mm shell moves the flanges outboard compared with a 100mm hub, giving the spokes a stronger bracing angle.
This version uses J-bend spokes and a 6-bolt rotor mount. The forged 2014 T6 aluminium shell runs on sealed stainless-steel cartridge bearings, with replaceable parts for servicing after wet and muddy riding.
Choose the drilling to match your rim and the axle fitting to match your fork. This is a dedicated Boost shell; it is not a 100mm hub fitted with wider end caps.
The Boost shell places the spoke flanges further apart than the standard 100mm version. That wider bracing angle supports a stiffer wheel build.
Keep the hub in service
Replaceable cartridge bearings and separate end spacers make the hub serviceable. Match any replacement spacers to the exact fork fitting and rotor version.
