2026 Nukeproof Reactor - Aluminium Trail Brute
The Reactor Alloy Pro is Nukeproof’s aggressive trail bike — fast on descents, efficient on the climbs, and built to thrive on long days where terrain constantly changes. With 140 mm of rear travel, a 150 mm fork, and geometry designed to balance agility and stability, the Reactor is the “go-anywhere” platform for riders who want one bike that can do it all.
Constructed from hydroformed 6061-T6 aluminium with UD carbon seatstays, the Reactor delivers a blend of strength, stiffness and low unsprung mass. The result is precise handling, excellent tracking and suspension performance that stays active whether you’re climbing technical singletrack or pushing hard into rough, fast trails.
Aggressive Trail Geometry
The Reactor’s long-reach, slack-front-end layout provides confidence at speed, while a steep seat tube angle keeps climbing efficient and centred. It’s a bike that feels lively and manoeuvrable on tight terrain, but planted when you’re pushing into rougher lines.
Balanced, Supportive Suspension
Using Nukeproof’s updated Horst-link system, the Reactor delivers a supple initial stroke for traction, with strong mid-stroke support for pumping, turning and carrying speed. The progressive end-stroke provides control on bigger impacts, keeping the bike composed and predictable on challenging terrain.
Hybrid Alloy / Carbon Frame Construction
The 6061-T6 aluminium front triangle and chainstays provide strength and durability, while UD carbon seatstays reduce unsprung mass to improve suspension response. The combination keeps the frame stiff where needed but compliant enough for grip and comfort on longer rides.
Trail-Ready Features
Practicality matters on long days out. The Reactor Alloy Pro includes tube-in-tube routing, durable MAX bearings, ISCG-05 mounts, generous tyre clearance and a threaded 73 mm bottom bracket for easy servicing. A short seat tube across all sizes supports long-drop posts for modern riding styles.
Who It’s For
The Reactor Alloy Pro suits riders who want a single trail bike that climbs efficiently, feels energetic on rolling terrain, and remains confident when the trail points steep and rough. From trail centres to backcountry missions, it’s built to keep pace wherever your ride takes you.

Optimised Geometry & Suspension Kinematics
The Reactor uses Nukeproof’s refined Horst-link system to balance traction, support and control. A supple initial stroke improves grip, strong mid-stroke support keeps momentum on technical terrain, and a progressive end-stroke adds confidence on big hits. Geometry combines a long front centre with a steep seat angle for efficient climbing and composed descending.
Adaptability & Frame Construction
A hydroformed 6061-T6 aluminium front triangle pairs with UD carbon seatstays to reduce unsprung mass and improve suspension response. The two-position “Trail / Rail” flip-chip allows riders to adjust geometry for all-round trail riding or more aggressive descending. The Reactor V2 also supports wheel-size adjustment for consistent handling across setups.
Seamless Trail Shredding
Designed for real-world riding, the Reactor features tube-in-tube routing, MAX bearings, ISCG-05 mounts, and clearance for tyres up to 2.6”. A 750 ml bottle fits inside the front triangle, with an accessory mount under the top tube for tools or spares. Full 3D rubber protection keeps the frame quiet and well-shielded on rough trails.
