The Reactor Carbon Pro - Built for Aggressive Trail Riding

The Reactor Carbon Pro is Nukeproof’s take on the modern trail bike: light enough for big days, efficient enough for long climbs, and reactive enough to stay playful when trails turn fast and technical. With 140 mm of rear travel paired to a 150 mm fork, it strikes the perfect balance between agility and stability - a true all-rounder for riders who want one bike to do it all.

Full Carbon Fibre Chassis

The entire frame - front triangle, chainstays and seatstays - is constructed from UD carbon fibre. This brings a tangible improvement in stiffness, tracking, and responsiveness, while reducing unsprung mass for better suspension performance. The result is a bike that feels sharper under power, smoother through trail chatter, and more controlled at speed.

Adaptable Geometry & Wheel Options

Adaptability is baked into the Reactor Carbon. The Trail/Rail flip chip lets riders tune bottom bracket height, head angle and overall feel:

Trail Mode: Efficient, balanced, ideal for long rides
Rail Mode: Lower, slacker, more confident for steep or technical descending

The rear triangle can run full 29er (Trail/Rail 29 chip) or be switched to a 297 mullet setup with a dedicated Rail chip. With the 297 mixed-wheel Rail chip, geometry and suspension kinematics match the 29-inch Rail setting. The bike is supplied with 29-inch wheels; the alternative wheel and chip are not described as included.

Refined Suspension Kinematics

The updated 140 mm Horst Link platform is tuned for strong traction, predictable mid-stroke support, and a controlled, progressive end-stroke. Anti-squat levels keep the bike efficient on climbs without muting small-bump sensitivity. It’s a suspension feel designed to stay active and composed, whether you’re threading rooty singletrack or pushing into rougher descents.

Practical & Durable Trail Features

Nukeproof have designed the Reactor Carbon to be easy to live with as well as fast to ride. Practical details include tube-in-tube cable routing, a durable threaded BB, space for a full-size 750 ml bottle, 3D rubber protection on key impact areas, and MAX bearings throughout for long-term reliability. It’s a frame built to handle real-world conditions, not just clean workshop floors.

A carbon platform for varied trails

The Reactor Carbon uses carbon fibre throughout the front and rear triangles. Its trail geometry and short seat tube support a riding position that leaves room to move when the terrain gets technical.

Support without excess travel

The Horst-link rear suspension is tuned for sensitivity at the start of the stroke and support as the bike loads up. Its 140mm of travel is paired with a 150mm Lyrik Select+ fork.

A frame that is easier to live with

Tube-in-tube cable routing and a threaded bottom bracket simplify routine servicing. Shaped protection helps shield the frame from chain movement and trail debris.

Wireless control, wide gearing

GX Transmission provides wireless shifting with a 10-52T cassette. It is a useful match for a bike expected to climb well and still have plenty left for the descent.
