Öhlins RXF38 m.2 Fork – Big-Hit Performance in a Single-Crown Design
Bringing downhill-caliber performance to a single-crown format, the Öhlins RXF38 m.2 fork is designed for riders who demand gravity-level control and trail versatility. Developed for trail, enduro, and e-MTB use, the RXF38 m.2 borrows heavily from the World Cup-winning DH38 m.1, delivering unmatched stiffness, adjustability, and confidence on the roughest terrain.
Single-Crown Strength with Dual-Crown DNA
The RXF38 m.2 is built for 29” wheels and offers 160–180mm of travel, with 44mm and 51mm offset options. It features Öhlins’ TTX18 damper and three-chamber air spring—technologies proven at the highest level of downhill competition. Developed in collaboration with the Specialized Gravity UCI World Championship team, the RXF38 m.2 delivers race-level damping performance in a trail-tuned package.
38mm Stanchions for Maximum Control
With oversized 38mm stanchions, the RXF38 m.2 increases front-end stiffness, improving precision and control during aggressive riding. Öhlins carefully tuned the flex characteristics to ensure stiffness under braking, cornering, and impacts without sacrificing comfort. This balance allows for more efficient descents and improved rider confidence across varied terrain.
Optimized Weight for Trail and Enduro
Weighing in at approximately 2320g, the RXF38 m.2 achieves a performance sweet spot between the DH38 and the lighter RXF36. Redesigned lowers, refined stanchions, and a reinforced crown contribute to a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, making this fork capable of handling shuttle laps, enduro stages, and technical climbs with equal ease.
TTX18 Damping – Proven at the Pinnacle of Racing
At the heart of the RXF38 m.2 is the TTX18 damping system, engineered for superior small bump sensitivity and consistent damping under load. Its trail-optimized 18mm piston and increased damping pressure bandwidth provide fast response and excellent traction, maintaining control and momentum over everything from roots to rock gardens.
Simple, Powerful Adjustability
The RXF38 m.2 offers intuitive and comprehensive tuning options:
-
15 clicks of low-speed compression
-
15 clicks of low-speed rebound
-
3 clicks of high-speed compression + climb mode
Its twin-piston, three-chamber air spring system allows for tool-free tuning of spring progression, from the initial stroke all the way to bottom-out. For those looking for factory-level fine-tuning, a race-proven settings bank is available through Öhlins service centers.
Built for Long-Term Performance
Like the rest of the Öhlins RXF and DH lineup, the RXF38 m.2 is designed for easy maintenance. A universal service kit keeps performance consistent year after year—so riders can focus more on the trail and less on downtime.

3 way adjustable damper
Ohlins race-winning TTX18 damping technology from the DH38 Race Fork has been adapted to deliver its renowned top-tier traction and control on the most demanding trails. The RXF's adjustment range is specifically designed for tough trails and provides 16 clicks of low-speed compression, 3 clicks of high-speed compression, and 16 clicks of rebound adjustment.

Adjustable ramp chamber
The retuned, twin piston, three chamber air-spring system allows you to completely dial-in the level of progression—from the initial movement, right through to the bottom out. The air spring is cartridge-based, allowing for easy swaps between coil and air if desired.

Improved chassis technology
With the new chassis, the fork delivers ultra-sensitive tracking over small bumps while maintaining Öhlins' signature precise steering and predictable handling—no matter how long or hard it's pushed. The RXF features increased internal bushing overlap and an optimised configuration for 140-160mm travel on 29” wheels (up to 170mm for 27.5”), along with crown offsets of 38, 44, and 51mm. With its updated settings and reduced chassis friction, the fork offers improved sensitivity for greater traction and comfort to conquer any trail.
