Adult pedals can leave small feet searching for support. The SDG Slater JR uses a properly scaled 90 x 90mm platform so young riders can find a stable stance, control the bike and build confidence without an oversized pedal getting in the way.
The nylon-composite body is built for real trail use, while six rear-loading steel pins add serviceable grip without the aggressive height of many adult pedal pins. A CroMo axle and fully sealed DU bushing give it the construction you would expect from a premium full-size flat pedal.
