Specialized Levo 4 EVO Pro Custom Öhlins Edition
The Proper Electric Enduro Bike, Now With Öhlins Suspension
Specialized built the Levo 4 EVO Pro to be ridden hard. We’ve taken the part that matters most when the trail points downhill and upgraded it properly.
Out goes the standard RockShox suspension. In comes an Öhlins RXF38 M.2 fork and TTX22M.2 coil shock.
This isn’t a cosmetic special edition. It’s a serious suspension upgrade that gives the Levo EVO a calmer, more planted feel when the terrain gets steep, rough and fast. More grip, more support and more consistency when you’re deep into a long descent.
If you want the gravity-focused Levo, this is the one.
Öhlins Suspension: The Upgrade That Changes The Bike
The standard Levo EVO Pro is already seriously capable. This custom Öhlins build takes that capability and gives you a suspension platform made for riders who care about control, grip and consistency above everything else.
The RXF38 M.2 keeps the front end supported when you’re braking hard or loading the bike through compressions. At the rear, the TTX22M.2 coil shock tracks the ground beautifully and stays composed through repeated hits.
The result is a bike that feels settled when the trail gets messy, but still gives you the support to push into turns, take the harder line and carry more speed.
180 / 170mm Travel: Built For Proper Terrain
With 180mm of travel up front and 170mm at the rear, the Levo EVO sits firmly in electric enduro territory.
This is a bike for steep tracks, bike park laps, awkward rock sections and trails where braking bumps have braking bumps. The extra travel gives you room to make mistakes, but the Öhlins suspension makes sure that travel stays controlled and usable.
It doesn’t just absorb big hits. It helps the bike hold its shape when you’re riding hard.
Öhlins RXF38 M.2: A Front End You Can Lean On
A long-travel e-bike needs a fork with proper chassis support, and the RXF38 M.2 is built for exactly that job.
It stays composed under heavy braking, holds you up through steep compressions and gives the front tyre the grip it needs across loose, battered ground. There’s plenty of adjustment available, but not for the sake of adding more dials. Once it’s set up, the fork gives you a predictable front end that you can trust.
Point it into something steep, release the brakes and let it work.
Öhlins TTX22M.2 Coil: Grip You Can Feel
The coil shock is where this custom build really changes character.
The TTX22M.2 gives the rear wheel a calm, connected feel across rough ground. It tracks small impacts, stays consistent through long descents and remains supportive when you push into corners or hit bigger compressions.
Compared with an air shock, the coil adds a little weight and getting the correct spring rate matters. But for riders buying an EVO to tackle steep, rough terrain, the grip and consistency make that trade worthwhile.
Speak to the Brink team if you need help choosing the right spring rate for your riding weight and setup.
Specialized 3.1 Motor: Power That Feels Right
Peak numbers only tell part of the story. What matters is how the power actually feels when you’re climbing a loose bank, restarting on something steep or trying to keep the rear tyre hooked up.
The Specialized 3.1 motor delivers 105Nm of torque and up to 810 watts of power in a smooth, predictable way. It doesn’t surge or fight against your inputs. It gives you usable support that still lets you ride the bike properly.
Paired with the 840Wh battery, there’s enough range for big days, long transitions and plenty of repeat laps.
EVO Geometry: Adjustable And Properly Aggressive
The Levo EVO isn’t just a longer-travel version of the standard bike. Its geometry is made to be pushed.
Head angle, chainstay length and bottom bracket height can all be adjusted, letting you tune the bike around your terrain and riding style. Run it low and slack for steep tracks and bike park days, or bring it back slightly for a more agile all-round setup.
However you configure it, the Levo EVO remains stable at speed without feeling like a passenger on tighter sections.
SRAM X0 Transmission: Tough, Precise, No Fuss
SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission suits this bike perfectly.
Shifts stay positive under motor load, the direct-mount design is built to take abuse, and there’s no derailleur hanger waiting to bend when the trail gets tight and rocky.
It’s strong, dependable and largely disappears underneath you once you start riding. Exactly what you want from the drivetrain on a hard-ridden e-enduro bike.
Traverse HD Wheels: Made For The Hits
The Roval Traverse HD carbon wheels combine a tough rim platform with dependable DT Swiss 350 hubs.
They’re stiff enough to keep the bike accurate through rough corners, but built with the kind of riding this Levo encourages in mind. Paired with proper gravity tyres, they give you the support and confidence to ride the EVO as intended.
This isn’t a lightweight wheelset pretending to be tough. It’s a proper setup for a proper enduro bike.
Who Is The Custom Öhlins Edition For?
This build is for riders who spend their time on steep local tracks, enduro stages and bike park laps.
It’s for riders who notice when suspension starts to lose consistency halfway down a long run. Riders who want grip through rough braking zones, support in compressions and a bike that stays calm when the line doesn’t go perfectly.
It isn’t the lightest or most trail-friendly Levo in the range. It isn’t trying to be.
This is the one for riders who care more about what happens on the way down.
The Takeaway
The standard Levo 4 EVO Pro is already one of the most capable electric enduro bikes available.
The Brink Custom Öhlins Edition takes that proven platform and gives it a suspension setup with even more focus on grip, support and descending control.
You still get the powerful Specialized 3.1 motor, huge 840Wh battery, adjustable EVO geometry, X0 Transmission and Traverse HD carbon wheels. You just get an RXF38 M.2 and TTX22M.2 coil controlling the important bits.
No unnecessary changes. Just a properly upgraded Levo EVO, built to ride hard.
