The GX Eagle Transmission (T-Type) chain is the strongest we have ever made. Specifically engineered to optimize Eagle Transmission, this all-new T-Type design features a unique flat top. I managed to snap the quick-link on my chain just after arriving at Phoenix Bike Park. The chain is well used and tghought I'd get a replacemnet to be safe.
Popped into the Brink shop located on site and purchased a very expensive replacement Eagle Gx chain.
Fitted the chain andmy bike was unridable with the chain skipping like crazy and assumed something else was amiss or broken.
Whern I had time the next day I had a good look at my drivetrain and found nothing amiss anmd refitted my orginal chain which was fine.
Refitted te new chain and it skipped non stop.
Contacted Brink 7 days ago to report the issue with the new chain and had no reply.
Disapointing!
