For everyday rides with a young passenger up front, the Yepp Nexxt 2 Mini keeps your child close and gives them their own handlebar to hold. The hard shell supports soft, shock-absorbing padding, while the magnetic buckle makes fastening the adjustable five-point harness straightforward.

Footrests and straps adjust as your child grows. Water-repellent surfaces are useful after a damp school run, and the quick-release stem bracket lets you remove the seat when you're riding alone. An additional compatible bracket is needed to transfer it between bikes.

Check the fit before you ride

  • Front-mounted on a compatible handlebar stem: 20-28.6 mm diameter with at least 21 mm of mounting height. Thule's fit guide excludes stems with integrated cables.
  • For children aged 9 months to 3 years, weighing 9-15 kg and no taller than 93 cm. Your child must sit unaided for the journey and support their head while wearing a correctly sized helmet. Consult a paediatrician before carrying a child under one year.
  • Front seats reduce manoeuvrability. Check steering clearance and follow the fitting and safety instructions; this seat isn't for sporting use.
  • Seat weight: 1.8 kg. Maximum riding speed shown in the instructions: 25 km/h.

A place up front to join the ride

The front position keeps your young passenger close, with a dedicated handlebar for their hands. Soft padding sits inside the hard shell, so the seat combines support with comfort for everyday trips.

Keep the fit right as they grow

Adjust the footrests and footstraps as your child's legs get longer, then set the five-point harness to suit. Those separate adjustments help you maintain a supported sitting position within the seat's age, weight and height limits.
