Transition Spur Carbon Frame : The Fast Bike That Doesn’t Hold You Back
The Spur has always sat in that sweet spot between XC speed and trail capability, and that’s exactly why it works so well.
120mm out back, 130mm up front, and geometry that’s far more progressive than a traditional XC bike. It climbs like it should, but more importantly, it descends like you wish most XC bikes did.
This is a frame for riders who don’t want to be boxed into a category.
120mm That Rides Like More
On paper, the Spur is a short travel bike. On the trail, it doesn’t feel like one.
The flex stay rear end and progressive leverage curve give it a lively, responsive feel early in the stroke, but with far more support and control deeper into the travel than you’d expect.
It’s efficient when you’re pedalling, but never harsh or nervous when things get rough.
130mm Up Front : Modern XC Done Right
The move to a 130mm fork brings the Spur right in line with how modern XC and downcountry bikes are actually ridden.
More support on steep descents, more confidence in technical terrain, and no real penalty when climbing. It just makes the bike more usable, more often.
Geometry : Fast, But Not Fragile
This isn’t a twitchy race bike.
The Spur uses progressive geometry that keeps things stable at speed while still feeling light and direct on climbs. It’s balanced, predictable, and encourages you to push a bit harder than you normally would on an XC platform.
Frame Features : Built to Ride, Not Just Race
- C.H.I.P.S. adjustment to fine tune geometry
- B.O.O.M. Box internal storage for tools and essentials
- Fully guided internal routing for easy setup and quiet running
- Size-specific chainstays for consistent handling across sizes
Everything is designed to make the bike easier to live with, not just faster on paper.
Spur Frame : Who It’s For
If you want a lightweight, fast bike but don’t want to give up confidence on descents, this is exactly where the Spur fits.
It’s not a pure race bike. It’s something better than that.

C.H.I.P.S
(Changes Height Independently from Progression Setting): Fine tune your geo with these simple and robust C.H.I.P.S to adjust your headtube angle by .5 degree and BB height by 7mm.
B.O.O.M Box
Internal frame storage to hold your burrito, or other munchies. Two supplied bags help store all the essentials for any ride.
Internal Cable Routing
Fully guided tubes and clean headtube cable ports make internal routing easy and keep things quiet.
Size Specific Chainstays
To ensure balance at every size, the Spur has a 435mm chainstay for SM/MD, and 440mm for L/XL.
Loam Hat
Built in protection keeps dirt and debris away from your main pivot, extending bearing life and reducing maintenance.
Hidden Linkage Hardware
The seatstay to rocker junction now has hidden hardware, further increasing the clean toptube to seatstay frame line, while also removing an area for debris to collect. Easy access from the inside now has deeper tool insertion to reduce stripping and rounding of the hardware.
