The Crankbrothers Stamp Trail Speed Lace Seal is a flat-pedal shoe for the rides when rain, mud and soaked undergrowth are part of the plan. It combines a waterproof upper and adjustable ankle wrap with HYDRO rubber underfoot, putting as much thought into wet grip as keeping the weather out.
The ankle is the important part of the Seal design. A 360-degree wrap helps close the route water can take down your leg, while the breathable membrane protects the rest of the upper. A low-absorption lining helps the shoe dry more quickly afterwards. Speed Lace makes the fit quick to adjust, with a pocket to keep the loose lace tucked away; the stretchy ankle opening and heel pull tab help when it's time to get changed.
Underfoot, Crankbrothers uses its softest HYDRO compound to increase friction on wet surfaces. The Trail tread is shaped for flat-pedal contact and for finding purchase when you're pushing back up. Stiffer zones provide support on the pedals, while a more flexible toe lets the shoe move with your foot off the bike. Low-rebound EVA takes the edge off trail vibration.
A reinforced toe and wraparound outsole add protection against knocks, with reflective details at the toe and heel for low-light rides. This is the flat-pedal version. If you ride clipped in, choose the Mallet Trail Speed Lace Seal.

Close the gap at your ankle
Rain has another way into a shoe: down your leg. The adjustable 360-degree wrap helps close that opening, while a breathable waterproof membrane protects the upper. Inside, a low-absorption lining helps the shoe dry quickly after a wet ride.
Wet grip for flat pedals
HYDRO is Crankbrothers' softest rubber compound, developed to increase friction when surfaces turn wet and slippery. On the Stamp, it works with the Trail tread across the outsole to give you grip on the pedal and traction when the climb becomes a push.
Support where you pedal, flex where you walk
The outsole uses different stiffness zones to support your foot on the pedal without making every step awkward. A flexible toe helps the shoe move with you off the bike, while the low-rebound EVA midsole damps vibration on rough trails.
A tougher front for rough trails
The toe box has TPU reinforcement, backed by an outsole that wraps up around the front of the shoe. Together they add protection where roots, rocks and trail debris can catch your toes.
