Forbidden Druid SLX 2022

Packing a punch in all the right places with a spec that leaves no stone unturned, the Druid sports an all-carbon high pivot chassis. Our ‘One Ride’ geometry philosophy sees the Druid’s ‘actual’ seat tube angle increase per size alongside stack height, and both front and rear centres, keeping you centred, balanced and ready for anything. Such readiness will be more than welcome with a suspension system that eliminates unwanted drivetrain forces, allowing you to tackle trails you’ve previously avoided. With 150mm travel in the front and 130mm in the rear, the Druid won’t waste any time establishing what it can do, leaving you to rethink what you once thought impossible on a trail bike.

Forbidden logo

Inspired by the terrain that surrounds their home on Vancouver Island, even naming the company after the Forbidden Plateau - their local riding spot - should go some way to explaining their intentions as a mountain bike brand. The year-round riding conditions they experience here coupled with the sheer variety of trails on offer have given them the ideal location to design and develop cutting edge mountain bikes.

Established in 2019 by a growing team of industry veterans with a single product - a trail bike, the Druid - and a single-minded, no holds barred approach to bicycle design. The Druid’s arrival on the scene certainly set the tone for a brand that is not prepared to accept the status quo or adhere to the whims of mass-market trends.

Small, agile and free to pursue the ideas that would ultimately lead them towards truly unique products that not only define them a company but who they are as riders. This approach has also allowed them to really focus on ride quality and performance above all else, be it through suspension, geometry, materials, or construction techniques.
